Monitoring-Matters E-zine was created in 2009 out of the demise of the late Monitoring-Monthly; produced by Kevin Nice. Its aim was to continue to give you an E-zine that met your requirements and matched your interests.

Subjects covered include digital radio, scanning, military and civilian air, PMR, maritime communications, rig reviews, number stations, amateur radio club news, items for sale and readers letters. Plus, special features all aimed towards the utility radio listener and user.

Those of you who know me, know my roots are deep in reporting on both military and government service communications. So much so that I feel the way ahead is for me to concentrate on just those areas. To do that would be unfair, and therefore unacceptable to those with interests in other areas of communication other than the military.

I have therefore with regret decided the only acceptable way ahead is to discontinue Monitoring-Matters with this the January issue; the final issue before the start of what would have been our third year.

Can I therefore on behalf of our team of; Andy Lyass, Archer, Dave-NWmonitor, Kevin Ryan, Matt Welch, Sam, Scott Caldwell, Shirley Carty and myself, thank you for your support over these last two years. Can I also say to the MM team, a very big thank you for your help and assistance also.

To each and every one of you, thank you and take care into the future.

MONITORING-MATTERS CONDITIONS OF SUBSCRIPTION

Monitoring-Matters in providing you, the utility radio enthusiast with an online E-zine, reserve the right to control the amount and content of material in each issue of Monitoring-Matters. It further reserves the right to amend the annual subscription fee to cover its operating costs, with at least one calendar month notice of the amendment. Finally, the MM team reserve the right who they accept an annual subscription from, and may not enter into correspondence as to any reason it maybe refused.
